VODACOM NO LONGER MEETS EXPECTATIONS

I have been a Vodacom customer as far as I can remember. I last upgraded my package more than 2 years ago WHILE BEING UNDER DEBT REVIEW and was given an NEW IPHONE 6. More than 2 years have passed and my device needs to be on a powerbank 24/7. I am offered GAN (Good as New) Iphones XR for R749pm/36 months but Vodacom is refusing to upgrade me to the IPhone 13 for R699/36 months. I have been under debt review for more almost 8 years and never have I had any trouble to upgrade except since 2023. My monthly account has been R2000pm and in October 2023 I was offered a benefit package which was actually a downgrade and now I am paying R1600pm but the fact remains that I still pay every month. My credit rating has increased from 604/740 to 634/740 and still I am denied a handset of my choice. Why previously was my handset upgraded while under debt review with a worse rating than now and now I am denied?? This is very disappointing.

Reviewer Update
Dear Vodacom

I am not asking for credit but I have had my contract and have upgraded many times WHILE BEING UNDER DEBT REVIEW - why the inconsistency now? Do you really want me to rather cancel my contract with Vodacom - is this how I am treated after so many years being at Vodacom. If I didn't pay my lines were blocked - all I am asking is to be treated fair. Why offer me a "good as new IPhone" for MORE (R779/36) than the new IPhone 13? Why can I not have a phone of my choice - doesn't need to be top of the range and I am not asking for the newest version of IPhone. All I am asking for is the IPhone 13 going for R699/36months but for "someone" like me you offer a Xiaomi Medmi for R819/36months?? Am I being discriminated against because I faced hardship in my life. Like I said before my credit score has increased from 604/740 to 634/740 and I am in the process of clearing my name - but it does cost money. If this is they way I am treated then I rather will find a company who wants to assist me.
