Vodacom no longer accepting returns or refunds
I purchased a case for my cellphone at the Vodacom 3G Data Store in Tyger Valley on Saturday 2 June at 10h25. I then wanted to return the case at 10h40 due to the fact that the case was not compatible with wireless charging which I only found out after I purchased the case and read the packaging to see if it was compatible - the case is still unopened. I was informed by the sales consultant (Stefan du Plessis) that the store does not allow returns at all but he will email head office to get authority and get back to me on Monday 4 June (yesterday). I have not heard anything back from him.
I would also like to know how is this policy of no returns or refunds legal in terms of the Consumer Protection Act, in particular section 20 that deals with the Consumer's right to return goods?
