VODACOM NIGHTMARE

Since March, Vodacom contacted me to say I had packages that were discontinued. I emphasised whatever they changed it to I want no extra charges. Come April it's R400 more. I call to ask them to do corrections, then I am hit with a R1700 migration fee. Which tells me they can call and make as many mistakes but my calling to tell them to fix the problem comes with charges. May my debit order becomes 4 times my monthly debit order.

I asked for them to reduce costs on my data plan as I have WiFi, they move from R300 100GIG to R1215 on 50GIG. Logically if there was no current cheaper package for 50GIG they should have just said so and I stick to my plan. I mentioned to them that there's online deals waaay cheaper but the rant went on.

Fast forward to now, I continued paying monthly the correct amount I know I owe but now they say I am in arrears. I have two numbers expiring in 22 August which I called for the packages to be discontinued and I was told I can't because I am in arrears. My number is on soft block since last month and I can't make a single call.

Every department I called from customer service, billing, back office, migration just tosses me from one side to another. I even asked them if they don't keep notes or even attach the ticket numbers to my name so billing themselves can see there is an ongoing thing, no clear answers.

At this point I don't know what I probably missed from not returning calls, could be worse than I think and vodacom has done nothing. Lately even the call backs I request from tobi, no calls. Agents just drop the call as I explain my case.

Come 22nd August I will be charged extra again because I didn't cancel the two numbers contracts.

Someone please tell me there's hope here... 5 months later I have to recite this same doomed poetry to the agents and nothing. I even went to two stores and they told me they don't deal with online sales.

So no one has called me nor an email. Today I just received quote from Vodacom on my 076 number retuning the error you did in March, which was part of the only thing you did right. I clearly stated here it is the data number with the overcharge. If you did a careful look that number starts with 064***. On the vodacom website there is no self service just pre written FAQ and answers, no emails to escalate. Vodacom now just made things worse again.
