Vodacom Nightmare.....

Please help to resolve this VODACOM nightmare….

On 30 December 2016 my son’s cell phone stopped working, we called 111. On 31 December we go into our local Vodacom shop, an hour later we are told that there was an ******* sim swop done on the phone on 29 December and Vodacom have blocked the line. So we do a legal sim swop to get the phone up and running again. A few days later the phone is blocked again, after many calls to 111 and to find a customer service person willing to help us, I am told it’s blocked due to going over the LIMIT. They email me my invoice which was the grand total of R15,291.69, none of which were our calls. They log a dispute and give me a reference number ********** 080821. To date no one has called me, I’m not able to speak to anyone that can actually assist me. 111 is totally useless as I have had no feedback and have no confidence that this problem is going to be resolved any time soon. I’ve had to move money around my accounst to avoid the debit order for R15,291.69 being debited to my account. I feel totally disillusioned by the lack of service from VODACOM!!!

The ********** swim swop as well as the account being opened to international calls is VODACOM’s problem not mine, the customer. However I am being inconvenienced by gross incompetence!!!!
