Vodacom - never cease to amaze

Call Centre staff are only able to read from a script and cannot think to actually try help solve a problem.

I am out the country, cannot send emails using my vodamail as the LONG standing issue of vodamail not working on Wifi persists. So I tried to change my password so I could log in via the internet vodamail site, but it requires an SMS to be sent to the number of my data contract, which is with me and out the country. I never activated SMS roamer on my data contract number as why would I need to normally.

2 calls to Vodacom, there is no other way on planet earth to reset your password except via sms, this seems totally unbelieveable but with Vodacom, anything is possible I guess. And of course, for some reason, once you are out the country, its impossible to activate sms roamer, so I am now stuck with no emails for over a month while I travel all due to the original issue of Vodamail not working on Wifi and Vodacom's inability to fix the issue.

Surely Vodacom, surely there has to be a way for you to reset my password while I am on the phone with you, surely......
