VODACOM NETWORK SUCKS

I moved to my new house in June 2015. From the outset we experienced poor network connection. Another resident in our Estate informed me that if I contacted Vodacom, they could assist with a free Network booster. I contacted them and tried for 6 months to get this matter resolved with no positive outcome. I eventually just gave up and learnt to adapt to the Networking challenges.

However, about a month ago, the signal/network quality became so bad that our phones have literally become paper weights. Our calls get dropped or are of such bad quality that we cannot have a conversation. We cannot connect on the Vodacom network at all most of the time. Contact Vodacom service desk via Twitter, I was informed it was my phone settings. We are THREE (3) people with 3 different phones - how is it a phone setting. When I get to the office, with the same settings, my signal is perfect.

Asking around I found that everybody in the area are complaining and getting zero assistance from Vodacom. Last week in desperation I e-mail the CEO's office and received a response with a case number and a promise to investigate the problem and keep me updated on the progress.

So far the problem is exactly the same and i have had ZERO feedback from anybody. if I could afford to cancel my contracts with Vodacom early, I would. Unfortunately I am stuck with a service provider who is happy to take my money without fulfilling their side of the contract in giving the service I pay for.

Please stop your false advertising Vodacom - you are NOT SA's best network
