VODACOM NEEDS TO RETHINK THEIR WAY OF CLIENT CARE.

Where do I begin?

I've had the worst experience in the last 2 Months with vodacom ever.

Promises that are not kept as well as they lie to their clients.

I've been having issues in regards to a parcel that needed to be collected so I can cancel the contact and then get a refund. This was in September.

The parcel was collected after I had to call in twice. The first time I called in, I was promised within 7-14 Days my parcel will be collected. Fair enough.... But after 7 days I called in and was advised my case was never auctioned.

Then only was I contacted and the parcel collected.... After my 2nd call. The lady Named Mpho said she'll call me after the 7-14 days and no call up to date.

I was then patient to wait 3-5 working days for it to reflect on the system. Then I called in to the cancellations department... And was treated with the worst attitude from the gentleman who took my call.

After him transfering me to the after sales department the lady there... Just as rude told me the cancellation will be done and my funds will return within 3-5 working days. Again I was patient...

After that call my salary came in on the Saturday Monday the debit went off for R455.

I called in to enquire and was advised that the credit for that debit will be given within 7-14 days... Why did they debit after I CANCELED THE CONTACT

I spoke to a man called Paul Bambo who deserves a medal. Because he actually took time to look at my case and RE ESCALATE

I waited the 3-5 days AGAIN and called in and spoke to Kagiso...

Who then said hell ask the person who auctioned my case to call me in 47 h

This was on 24/10/2018

Today 29/10/2018 no call provided but an sms to confirm cancellation of the contact.

I would like to advise anyone who thinks of using Vodacom to not do it. They never deliver on their promises.
