Vodacom needs to do better.
Once again our fibre is down with no explanation, no apology, no warning. I've called the call centre and the person on the phone did what they could on their side to to check what the problem might be without being able to solve anything. They then escalated the call and logged a ticket and now we just sit and wait until the second coming while we pay for a service that's not being provided.
We went through two years of calling, emailing and then complaining on Hello Peter before anything was resolved. And now the problem has returned.
Please don't send me a generic email asking if you can get in touch. Fix the problem. Do better.

07 Nov 2023, 12:23Of course it's Vodacom.
I just tried to get a phone contract through Vodacom Online. The customer service advisor called me and took the relevant info, only to tell me I can't get the contract I want, which is only R379 per month, because my credit score is too low. I was told I can only get a contract of R249 per month. That is dumb.
I own a house and paid it off completely, I've had multiple contracts through Vodacom, and currently pay for fibre through Vodacom.
For what reason can I not get a cell phone contract that is only R379 a month? Don't tell me it's my credit score because I've had multiple phone contracts on credit with Vodacom before, and have bought and paid off an entire house. I've also checked my credit score, and I'm considered incredibly low risk. This is ridiculous.

07 Nov 2023, 12:50And now another thing. My husband tried to get a contract but because my bank account was linked to his ID they declined and now he can't get a contract for 90 days. Even though he said he'd change the banking details to his own.
What is wrong with you Vodacom?
