Hillcrest, not far from from the M13. Every time that load-shedding hits we loose our Vodacom mobile data access.

This is when mobile data matters the most, not least due to security apps on cellphones. I can only imagine that the batteries on the tower were ******, but this has been going on for months now. This is a frustrating and potentially dangerous problem. It also caused extreme stress and difficulty when we were providing a venue for a UNISA student to write her online exams.

I understand the problem of battery theft; nonetheless one particularly needs data services when the power is off. It can be a matter of life and death (or passing or failing an Exam when studyingat UNISA is expensive and requires real dedication).
