Vodacom claim to have a warranty for two years on the device i bought. Had the fone for 18 months and the charger and the headphones stopped working. Sent it in for repairs and get told that i must pay 1600 rand for thw fone to be repaired. This is not a warranty and is as far as im concered breach of contract as i purchased the phone through vodacom and was told and explained about the warranty by a vodacom member. I was never informed of the warranty being through the company of the phone. The warranty included the front screen to ve fixed free of charge should the screen get cracked. Now they blamming all the problems of the phone on a small crack on the back cover that has no effect on the phone and has been used for 14 months like that without a problem. Now because the phone has ab issue they find anyway possible to jump through loops in order not to fix thw phone. I have been a loyal customer with vodacom for 25 years this is the second time it has happened. The first time i left it bot wanting to create a problem and got a new phone instead now they expect the same again.
