Vodacom Misleading Contract Advertising

During March I was due for an upgrade on my existing contract and after perusing Vodacom online initially I found a suitable contract they advertised on the Smart S contract (Sony Xperia XZ1, L1 & PS4 bundle). I verified that there was available stock and subsequently placed my order on the 21 March 2018 (referenced 745xx39). Receiving no feedback I called to verify on the 23rd March regarding delivery but was informed that one device (of the bundle) was currently 'out of stock' i.e. the XZ1. After first verifying that they'll be able to send me the two available items I was called back to be now be informed that the warehouse won't split orders (after initially confirming they can). Waiting till the 27th March I followed up once more to verify the availability to then be informed that XZ1 is now in stock but that the L1 is out of stock so the order will still not be delivered. Decided to try the franchises to see who carried stock of the now constant 'out of stock' items. Vodacom Bellville had the L1 in stock and had to order from their stores the other two items. So we agreed we're going ahead with the contract and that I'll be contacted immediately once the items arrived. I followed up twice 30 March & 5th April. First follow up PS4 arrived - only item waiting for XZ1. Second follow up on the 5th April in order to collect the devices (as once more I was told the items they had in stock can be collected till the outstanding item arrive). BIG was my surprise when I was told that sorry the device it still 'out of stock' and that the deal has now changed so unfortunately I can't have this deal anymore. Now it started making sense as if Vodacom was playing for time now to honor the original deal they had advertised. Best of all I was offer an more expensive deal with less items in the bundle. Trying to debate the issue regarding that the two items in stock has already been ordered for me on the deal there was only apologies as to why it can't be issues. This was such a disappointment knowing that the deal was active, order placed for my items and to have to be told that sorry, new deals can't help. It's bad service and false advertising trying to play for time on items in order for specific deals to run out.
