Vodacom misleading advice

I recently took out a new contract with Vodacom. The sales advice I received was misleading and had I been given correct advice I would not have taken this particular phone. It is still within 7 days and I wish to return phones and cancel contract.

I've spoken to Vodacom shop at Liberty Midlands Mall, Pietermaritzburg and they are not prepared to cancel contract and take phone back. I am not at all happy because I feel I was misrepresented. My only other option is to take this to court if this is not resolved because I don't at all appreciate being **** to.

Dear Manager of Vodacom Chatz store in Liberty Midlands Mall I wanted to put in writing, today, the 06.12.2018 (2 days after receiving phone) that I am not happy with the phone I received. The salesman I was dealing with, Suvir informed me that the I Phone 6 and 6s are basically the same phones. Upon further research I discovered that both these phones are very different in term of build quality, processing power and functionality. E.g the I phone 6s has rasie to wake function which the 6 does not have because it does not come with a M9 motion coprocessor. I am not happy at all about this and I intend to take this matter further if my contract is not cancelled. I want to return the phone and cancel my contract. I apologise for this but I was given incorrect information about both phones. I believe the salesman used the words. "basically the same phone" and I believe he said this because Vodacom does not have the I phone 6s. Had I known this I would have rather spent extra elsewhere and gotten the 6s. I have also spoken to Godfrey Khumalo from Vodacom customer care. According to him if a customer is not happy with a phone they are allowed to return it and cancel contract. I do realise I have signed contract but the verbal information given to me by the Salesman, Suvir prior to my signing contract was incorrect, misleading and constitutes misrepresentation. I eagerly await your response as you have assured me that you will get back to me by the end of business today. Regards Neeshen Gounden **********
