Good day,

This review serves to indicate the terrible level of service I receive from Vodacom.

Currently I am on the Smart XL package and would like to upgrade/migrate this package to the Red VIP classic. On the 22nd of October I went into a Vodacom shop to make the necessary arrangements and left with the understanding that my contract will be upgraded on the 01 November. Nowing that errors sometimes occur, I phoned on the 31 October the Vodacom service desk (082 111) to make sure that all is in place for the upgrade the next day. The info I received was that everything is in place and that the upgrade will take place the next day. Come the next I saw that the upgrade wasnt done and phoned again (082 111). Speaking to the operater, she indicated that Vodacom is currently experiencing problems with upgrades/migration and that the issue will be resolved by close of business. On the 2nd of Nov the upgrade was still not done and I phoned again only to be redirected to a different department that will rectify the issue. Speaking to the operator for a while and coming to the last stages to resolve the issue she informed again that the system is experiencing issues and that she will attend to the problem and make sure that it is rectified. I was out of the country for business on the 3 and 4 and upon return I noticed that the contract is still not upgraded. I made contact with Vodacom again Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday to resolve the issue with no luck. On wednesday I was redirected again and had to go through all the relevant info again only to again be notified that Vodacom is experiencing technical issues and that the upgrade cant be done. The operator again indicated that he will make sure that the problem be rectified and that the upgrade will take place Thursday (10 Nov). Again the upgrade wasnt done and I phoned again on Thursday with no luck.

I am sending this out of desperation for someone at Vodacom to resolve the issue. The first instruction was given on the 22th of Oct and the problem is still not resolved

Please can this be resolved

Regards,

(a very unhappy Vodacom client)

Best regards,
Good Day,
After taking the time and effort to mention the above issue to Vodacom I am still left in desperation and with the same problem.
After sending the above message I was phoned by Kulsoem (who also rep**** to the above) who sincerely apologised on behalf of Vodacom and promised to rectify the issue. There were also other promises made. The promises were that I will receive a credit on my account for the additional charges that I incurred. I will also receive a credit for the month of November for additional charges that I will incur due to the migration not taking place and lastly, a promise was made that the migration to will take effect 01 December and that the problem will be sorted
Today is the 01 December and none of what was promised was done. I am still on the Smart XL and I received no credit for the additional charges.
Kulsoem - can you please keep to your promises
I guess I have to take this further
Regards
