Vodacom messed up my contract

In Nov 2015 I requested a quote for cancellation of the 3 lines on my contract. Since that date the data line/number stopped working but I was still being billed for the number. I then requested that this number be cancelled as I was having no luck with Vodacom answering me as to why this number was no longer working. I have struggled with Vodacom regarding this cancellation up to May 2016 (7 months later) when the Cancellations department confirmed the cancellation as at end May 2016.

On 26 July 2016 I received my June & July 2016 statements which showed that I was still being billed for the data number & that another number on my contract had been cancelled instead. I called Vodacom Customer Care on 27 July 2016 to inform them of this error & was referred to the Cancellations department who advised the following:
- The data number will be cancelled & removed from my billing. I will be refunded for June & July 2016
- The number cancelled in error will be added back onto my contract
My query was escalated with reference number 1- ********** 9056. I also received a quote number 1- ********** 0265 and order number 1- ********** 3776. I was promised a call back from Vodacom by 29 July 2016 which to date has never happened.

On 05 Aug 2016 I received a sms on number to say a Credit Limit Bar had been activated on my account & since then my cell number stopped working as it had been suspended.

I am at my wits end with Vodacom & all the errors they have made on my account. I have been back & forth with Vodacom from one department to the next, going to Vodacom stores for assistance.

On 11 Aug 2016 I spoke to Anathi Jinjela who says that my call was escalated to her team leader Marlon Fortune/Fortuin who promised to call me back because he is too busy to take my call. I was given reference number ********** 04 for this call. All that Marlon did was to remove the suspension from my cell number & I haven’t heard from him since. Marlon however did advise that they will be looking into the matter regarding the incorrect cancellation & continued billing of the number I had actually requested be cancelled.

I received a call from Vodacom to say that the number cancelled in error will be added back to my billing & I will be refunded for the data line that should have been cancelled. To date this has not been done. I have again been back & forth between Vodacom stores & call centres & being sent from pillar to post for a mistake I did not make & no one at Vodacom wanting to taking responsibility for this.
