Vodacom MESS UP AGAIN after 10 months!

Recently I wrote to Hello Peter re my brother's contract with Vodacom, which we had been trying to cancel for now 10 months without success. Ringing customer care was useless as got passed from pillar to post. Only after contacting HelloPeter did we get an immediate and reasonable approach from an agent named Dean. He was competent,, empathetic, efficient in his dealing with this disgusting problem unlike anyone I managed to contact before on my brother's behalf as he now lives overseas. So now a refund has been given, not exactly what he should have got, but am just so relieved this whole debacle is over at last. Would I recommend Vodacom to my friends, no I wouldn't, but I hope Vodacom acknowledge the competency of Dean who really was only doing his job. He, however, acquainted himself with all the correspondence etc and and I hope his worth is acknowledged by Vodacom in whatever way they see fit. Thanks to Hello Peter. They really are a wonderful service to business and confidence in South Africa. I would not deal with any firm who did not register with them. Thanks so much again. Oh dear, seems I was too soon in praising Vodacom. My brother has just phoned to say they did not pay in the amount promised and made a mess again. He was due according to them over R1800 but received only R1300 well below what was due. PLEASE CAN SOMEONE PLEASE RECTIFY THIS WHOLE MESS????? Lorna

Do hope this is resolved soon. We have dealt with so much trauma in the past 3 years and this is all so unnecessary if companies just fulfilled their promises......
