Vodacom making money from our demise

Watching the Stormers game on Saturday, loadshedding kicked in with 20m to go. My phone automatically switched to Vodacom 5G and I decided to pay the penalty for watching the updating score on News24. Somehow I got switched to Mobio360 and without my consent I received a msg saying they will charge me R15 per day for my new subscription. Several questions for Vodacom. Firstly, you have just sent me a msg saying you are increasing fees. Given that many providers worldwide are increasing bandwidth and reducing fees at the same time, how can you do this in troubled South Africa in 2013? Secondly, why do keep contacting me on my phone to sell me stuff? I have already told you to stop doing this. Lastly, why do you make it so easy for these suppliers like Mobio360 to charge me for a service I never asked for? I presume they bill through my Vodacom account so you get a share. Is this legal? Ethical? Don’t you make enough money without this nonsense?
