Vodacom makes your Personal Information available to their 3rd party Agents

As of late I receive calls from Call Centers who claim they claim as if they are from Vodacom. It appears that they are 3rd party Agents who wants to sell me "Contracts" and or devices. I took this up with Vodacom to establish how is it possible that my Confidential Personal information ends up in the hands of Vodacom Agents.? In terms of POPPI Law Vodacom is not allowed to share my Contact Information and or Contract Information. After confronting Vodacom directly my case was referred to a Manager and the answer came back that "They have the Right do share my information" in terms of their T&C paragraph 11 where I give consent to allow them to distribute my Confidential Contact details to their Agents and Representative. The moment you enter into a contract, even if you do not sign it personally their T&C will apply. Beware of Vodacom's T&C paragraph 11 and be careful when some unknown Call Center Agent tries to sell you a Vodacom product. They get info from Vodacom with your unknown consent.
