Vodacom *******ly adds packages onto account without my permission!!!!

Vodacom!!!!!

You amaze me yet again!!!!

I finally get the credit on my account and manage to cancel my contract - thank you - it only took 22 months.

I physically went to the midrand offices to cancel my contract and make sure that I am on prepaid. I have this confirmation in writing only because I demanded that the send it to me while I was sitting there.

And I looked forward to going on prepaid on 31 July 2025. This actually happens one day earlier, on 30 July and my remaining data and airtime is gone 1 day earlier, but hey, at least now I'm on prepaid.

I start the process of porting to another service provider....

But....Guess what???? Today I received an invoice for a new contract that was added onto my number!!!!!!!!!!

Why on Gods green earth would I want another contract with Vodacom. I have been struggling to get rid of Vodacom for MONTHS.

When you phone 082135 or *** to query this ******* addition, and cancel it - they cannot see it on their side - BUT it shows on my Vodacom APP and I received an invoice and statement for it. Oh, and my call gets disconnected because I am prepaid and not on contract.

I managed to find out that username SAWON001 in the retentions / cancelations department was the person who loaded this package on my account on 4 July 2025. I have not been able to speak to him and find out what the hell gave him the impression that I would want a contract every again.

Don't you dare debit my bank with this ******* amount. I want it reversed immediately. I did not agree to another contract.

I would like to warn all Vodacom customers - please check your statements and invoices religiously EVERY MONTH - it seems that Vodacom just adds contracts as they please to take money off your account.

I now want to cancel my debit order with them - and after holding for, what felt like an eternity, I was cut off!!!

Amazing how useless the service is.
