Vodacom loves shifting blame!

I upgraded my contract in September 2024. This was a double deal. I therefore got an additional number with the second phone as I could not choose this number. I know have 2 active double deal numbers. This means I have 2 additional numbers that we currently use as “back-ups” not our primary numbers. In October I got a call to migrate these 2 numbers. While the consultant was speaking I explicitly told the consultant that I DO NOT want to pay more than I am already paying as these numbers are not my main numbers and therefore, do not need additional airtime and data. My invoice at the time was R2,333.99. The consultant explained that the NEW amount would be for around R2, 100.00 (this could be more but definitely he said R2100 and something). I got my most recent invoice and the new amount is: R2,658.98. I noticed that the 2 “back-up” numbers amount increased. I immediately called Vodacom on *** on the 07 November at 17:06 and the consultant said they noticed that there has been a migration and that is the reason for the new amount. I said but I explicitly said I do not want anything that will make me pay more. She said this will be escalated and they will contact me for the latest by Monday. I did not receive feedback and I called Vodacom again on *** on the 13 November at 11:28. I spoke to the same consultant and she advised that it was a third party and they will escalate it and the third party will make contact with me as it is there fault. He very promptly advised that they need to listen to the recording to verify that my version is correct. VODACOM LISTEN THE RECORDING!!! I have no issues as I assured her I know what my budget it and I definitely wont agree to be paying more for numbers that are not used as primary numbers. I told her that I will be extremely upset if this amount is going to be debited from my account come the 28 November as there is sufficient time to rectify this! On the 21 November I got a SMS to remind me that R2658.98. WHY??????? This is unacceptable!
