Vodacom list an account that was closed as being in arrears in the credit bureaus. Extremely poor service

Good day,

I am sending this email to register my gross disappointment with the way you treat you clients.

I had an account with Vodacom which I decided to prematurely terminate in April 2020(account number I***-9). First of all it took Vodacom more than a month after I made all payments to terminate the account, accruing further costs in the process while Vodacom drags its feet. Mind you this is after I sent all required documents and proof of payment.

Now that the account was finally terminated in May, Vodacom then goes to the Credit Bureaus and record my account as being in arrears even thought it was terminated with full payment. By so doing messing up my credit records and prospects of getting credit elsewhere. How do you close an account that is in arrears?

And this is not the first time Vodacom mess up my credit record. For the same account they recorded in the bureaus that I was R1 in arrears. Come on what was the R1 for?

This is definitely a service provider I will never use again or recommend to anyone.

Please clear my account with the bureau my account was closed and no longer, why would you close an account that is in arrears?
