Vodacom Life Funeral Claim Delays and Poor Communication

I submitted my funeral claim with all required documents on 30 April 2026. Since then, getting clear feedback from Vodacom Life Funeral Claims has been extremely difficult.

I was forced to repeatedly follow up and eventually lodge a complaint requesting the claim status, confirmation that my documents were in order, and timelines for resolution. Despite this, no meaningful updates were provided.

On 8 May 2026, an assessor informed me that the claim was being investigated because it was submitted immediately after the waiting period had ended. I find this concerning, as the policy waiting period had apparently been met, yet the claim is being delayed without clear justification or defined timelines.

During a difficult time, customers should not have to chase insurers for basic communication and transparency. I am requesting a clear explanation, proper communication, and urgent finalization of this claim.

Reviewer Update
To date, no one has contacted me and the issue remains unresolved. I am extremely frustrated by the lack of communication and the fact that I have to follow up repeatedly without receiving meaningful feedback or assistance.
Please provide an urgent update on my claim (***) (policy: VCF***), including the current status, reasons for the delay, and clear timelines for resolution.
Kindly treat this matter with urgency.
