Vodacom lies about data deal

A few days ago, I was contacted by a sales rep from Vodacom online.

He offered me a 60GB data sim only contract for R199 per month.

I accepted and the deal was done over the phone. Ever since, i have had numerous issues. My sim card was not activated, then after ranting about this, my LTE service was not activated. This eventually got fixed. Now, I sit with the issue of only receiving 2/3 of my data. My balance only reflects 40GB. I have contacted Vodacom social media who responded saying that they have escalated it to after sales and that after sales will assist further. A day later an no communication. I took the liberty to call after sales and the gentleman by the name of Wilson assisted me. He did inform me that i have signed up for a 40GB deal and not 60GB. This infuriated me as i was sold a 60GB over the phone. I asked for the recordings on the phone call and he told me that i have to contact Vodacom online. I am trying to contact vodacom online and theres never any answer.

I feel really violated and taken advantage of. I did not know that Vodacom outright lies to their customers. The worst part is that i cant contact anyone else since theres no answer. This is the worst experience i have ever had with a cellular network.

I have wasted so much of money on phone calls trying to contact vodacom and whenever i do contact them, i am transferred to someone else who ill be on hold for 10 minutes with no answer.

Can someone from Vodacom please contact me, be straight about the matter, with no lies, and be honest about selling me something. Do not duck and dive since ive asked for the recording, or now that i have contacted you directly, ignore my emails. Dont be evasive!

Come out, and stop lying and avoiding the mess that you have made. Please rectify this and stop taking my money without giving me what you sold me.

Two working days have passed by. No resolution, or feedback received. Absolutely shocking. Its as if Vodacom is trying to insult me.
