Vodacom Lies about advertised packages

Dear Vodacom, You do misrepresentation and cost us money. You print packages that you do not even want to let people take as you want to force them to take packages that cost more and has less in the deal. So we went to Vodacom Cape Gate to take an advertised laptop package deal on a upgrade of one of our contracts, to be told that they do not hold the laptops in stock. All good we understand you need to order the laptop as you might not have stock...but first you tell us we cannot upgrade to the advertised package as it expires on the 7th July and you will only do an upgrade when the laptop arrives at the shop. In the same breath you tell us that it might take 14 days for laptop to reach the shop and est part you never hold any laptop deals in stock and have to order them when people ask. Plus because the order might be delayed to deliver item it will be past the advertised current deal and cannot be given. So your trained staff tell us go take a drive to Dion Wire at Tygervalley shopping centre as they handle your same deals and we can do it there as they hold laptops in stock. Wow guess what....they say they do not do your advertised deals. Plus they do not even hold Lenovo laptops in stock. They build their own contract package deals...well trained staff Vodacom has sending us with wrong information. So then we go to Vodacom at Tygervalley, the one shop atleast had some helpfull staff to assist us, checked on system and say great you have 3 contracts for upgrade. They try to do the upgrade and say they can process the upgrade and complete the action, it does not matter if they need to order the laptop as the deal can be processed on the data contract which can be upgraded and the laptop can follow. After a few minutes we are informed that the advertised package deal is not on their system and we need to go to Vodacom data shop as they can 100% do it for us. We get there and same old story. Sorry we do not have these laptops in stock and cannot process your upgrade for the advertised package that only ends on the 7th July. They cannot do the upgrade and because there is a delay for stock to arrive to a shop, customers cannot get the deals. So why advertise these packages? 1. We cannot get them as you never even supply one unit of each package to the shops; 2. You advertise a period of how long packages are available yet you cannot get them within these periods, 3. You place staff at various shops that all talk differently and supply different information. If these advertised packages were online we would have done the upgrade via the online system. But your deals not on there as shown on June booklet. As we feel now we might as well cancel all 3 of our contract upgrades as clearly you not interested in your customers and provide us lies with false advertised products.
