Vodacom lie then bills me for it.
On the 24th of March, I received a phone call from Vodacom saying that I need to be migrated to another package as my packages are discontinued. I thought it is obvious that I need to move as the service I had was no longer available. After a long phone call, I agreed but before doing so, I asked if the current additional data and minutes I receive on both the numbers will be affected. The person on the other side made it clear it will stay the same. April, I saw that I did not get my additional data and minutes on both my devices at the same price as we agreed on. I phoned Vodacom and they said it will be fixed. In May I am still fighting with them to have it sorted out. I made sure to talk about the bill as well to make sure they don't charge me over my budget. Now due to their mistake, my bill is almost R1000 more for this month due to prorated costs. This is not what we agreed upon. I told them to sort it but in the end, I only ended up talking to a disrespectful manager. They are going to put me back on the previous package that they said is discontinued. How? It is no longer available, or that's what they said. I am frustrated by this because I did not budget for this much and I did not make this mistake but I have to pay for it. I don't think this is fair and feel they should take this on them. It is very quick to sell something by lying to a customer but if it is not the way we all agreed, it takes months to be sorted out.
