Vodacom lie on recorded Call Special Offers!

DO NOT BELIEVE ANY specials offered over the phone! No FREE DATA for special customers! I wanted to cancel my contract with Vodacom, but called by Vodacom's retention dept to convince me otherwise of course.

The person assisting me was very helpful and professional....it seemed. I was promised that because i am such a great client and have been with Vodacom for such a long time, they want to offer me 2 gig data per month but only charge me for 500meg. (The normal Top-Up contract has 500meg/month)

I received my phone, my airtime BUT NO 2gig Data!! It has been 3 months now that I am NOT receiving the product that was confirmed on the recorded call!! NOT impressed. When you go to a Vodashop...they refer you to CALL again!! Pathetic.
