Vodacom *****

I had 4 contracts with Vodacom for years. (Me - Phone, Husband - Phone, Child1 - Tablet, Child2 - Tablet) In January 2020 i upgraded my phone for a new phone and husband's phone for a laptop. The 2 tablets of kids would be due in July 2020. In July 2020 i decide to cancel kids tablet contracts because their tablets was still good and i wanted to spare the costs. Vodacom calls me and convince me to upgrade the kids tablets to a cheaper package of R100 per month per tablet including insurance and data, good cheap deal so i accept. I received the 2 new tablets but the contract price remained same as before (R300 and R200) They never changed this to the promised deal of R100 each. On 1 December 2020 a burglar broke into our home and stole all our devices. I called vodacom and they said i don't have insurance (because they never changed my plan as discussed in July) but of course they deny this. They said i have only insurance on my phone and that i must submit my police case number, i did this within 2 days on their website and nothing ever came from this. They still keep charging me for the expensive packages that was cancelled. I gave up and requested from them to at least take off all the extra charges like data bundles, insurance, caller identity fees etc so that i can at least just pay for the standard contracts only, they said they will do that but did not. So i still pay full price (incl insurance and extras) for 4 devices that i don't have and data bundles that i don't use) They make a lot of promises when they convince you to take contracts but when it comes to keeping agreements or correcting contacts agreements they just lift their shoulders and ignore me and lie about it. I will never in my entire life support them or do business with them again once these absurd unfair contracts ran their course.
