VODACOM 'LEGAL DEPT' SHOCKING SERVICE & ATTITUDE

My past cell phone contract (for internet use) - ********** 819 was cancelled nearly 4 years ago due to no signal. I have an email confirming the cancellation as proof. Sent by Lineo Phalatse from Vodacom on 7th May 2013. She confirmed in this email that no cancellation fee would be charged and no further charges would apply. The device was collected from me by their courier in May 2013.

On Monday 20 February 2017 I received a call from Elite Mobile offering me a package/contract for a Vodacom Smart Tablet 2. The deal sounded really good and agreed to procedd and gave the gentleman all my details. Elite Mobile sent me emails to confirm the deal but he did say that all the information would be sent to Vodacom for approval.

To my complete dismay I received a sms at around 5pm on the same day to say that Vodacom had declined the contract with no reasoning. I then called Elite Mobile but they said I needed to call Vodacom. This I did and after a number of calls later, constantly being pushed from pillar to post. A lady called Balega confirmed that it had been declined due to it still sitting in the Legal Department. She also informed me that the cell no. in question belonged to someone else now!!! I eventually manged to get trough to the Legal department the next morning - spoke to a gentleman called Sieso. Besides the fact that he wasn't very friendly in fact had an attitude and really didn't seem to be in the mood to assist, he did confirm that the account/contact had been cancelled and there was no monies owing. HOWEVER, according to Vodacom, I am still BLACK LISTED due to their inefficiences. The final step (whatever that is supposed to be) hadn't been done!!!! He did say that he would send a 'notification or whatever they call it' through to 'whoever' and get back to me within 2 - 5 hours with a reference number. Once I had the reference number I could then call the Sales Department to check that my name had been cleared!!!!! Well my call with Sieso ended at around 9.30am on Tuesday 21 February and I am still waiting .... it is now 5.20pm Wednesday 22 February.

This is all such a joke as Elite Mobile informed me that Vodacom send them lists of names of long standing/loyal customers on a regular basis who they call to offer these packages to!!!!! Why would Vodacom give my name to them if in their books I am blacklisted ............................. !! I am so tired of poor service and poor attitudes :(
