Vodacom leaves old lady stranded
My mother is 82. She is highly dependant on her cell phone, and has a contract with Vodacom. Vodacom so-called "admin locked" her phone since 15 October. First without any notification to her. On inquiry, she was advised of ths lock, but with zero explanation as to what that means. Upon further inquire by her, Vodacom asked her to make a affidavit that her cell number belongs to her - why, only Voda would know, as they gave her that number. She could NOT make or receive ONE phone call since 15 October. It is now more than 20 days later, and still no working contract. Voice does not work, data does not work. What is Vodacom doing? There is no progress nor explantion. It is the absolute top of no care attitude! Did they help de***** my mother, and now expect her to make declarations to correct Vodacom's incomptence or neglect? My recommendation - never ever buy anything from Vodacom. Many reviews here, is testomony to that.
