Vodacom-Law free?

Vodacom recently ran a special for some of their phones, one of which I was interested in . The phone I wanted is a dual sim phone(Xiaomi Redmi Note 4) I requested that vodacom does not block the secondary sim on the phone as I know they enjoy doing that. A week and a half past with no feedback of the phone arriving. My mother and I decided to go in to find out whats happening to which we were told no the phone was discontinued, cool no problem at least let your customer know then... now comes the part that really ****ed me off.

While talking to the agent (Siyabonga-if I remember correctly) from the pinecrest centre store. Looking at a few alternative options and queried a few devices which I know are dual sim when I put in the request for them to leave the sim active he bluntly said all vodacom devices are single simed which I know as they actively remove the 2nd sim however according to FSP laws if a customer requests that one of the devices primary functions do not get removed, then they need to comply to the request, whether giving a client a disclaimer to say listen we can't block the device or some other bs lie because cellc and mtn and telkom can block their sim regardless of dual sim or not.

Anyway this arrogant gentle tells me no south african laws don't apply to vodacom. What bull Sh*t is that.

Vodacom please see to it that your team provides me with the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 or a phone of similar quality as well as pricing (if you cannot provide the note 4) that is unlocked dual sim as I have 2 vodacom sims and do not want to carry 3 phones around. Please also see to it that your legal team gets a hold of me on ********** as a lawsuit will follow if you do not comply to the FSP laws of South Africa

So Zane/Zayne from Vodacom contacted me the day after posting this. Very nice gentleman that started looking into the issue for me and that he would attempt to source the phone for me or a similar quality phone to make up for Vodacom's horrible service. He got back to me this morning with a very unsatisfactory result saying that he unfortunately couldn't help me in regards to getting a dual sim phone from vodacom as they only stock single sim phone models. My issue with this is that the phone that I ordered only has a dual sim model across the globe (chances are that he didn't know) My other issue with this reply is that my brother and one of my work colleagues have gotten dual sim phones from vodacom. This leaves me to believe that vodacom is actively hiding things from their customers as well as their junior employes. Please note vodacom is not network blocking phones to a single provider they are just actively disabling the secondary sim slot in the store devices.
