VODACOM LAPTOP DEALS FAULTY MACHINES!!!!!!!

VODACOM LAPTOP DEALS FAULTY MACHINES!!!!!!!

I have been with vodacom for many years. I have taken out an additional contract with them requiring a laptop. Got approved ammediatly.

Went to vodacom 4 u in mall of africa midrand and collected the laptop... Sherri who is the manager they said was helpfull and very quick to hand me the laptop.

I did have the laptop for 3 days and it started giving major problems. When i advised her she said i must refer to the website and contract that sais because it is through Lenovo the laptop must go to them and i need to phone them.

First she gave me 3 numbers to contact of which those numbers does not exist. I have taken the laptop for assessment myself and was told that there is major hardware problems and recieved a report on on the faults.

She then arranged for Lenovo to collect the laptop and now im told it can take upto 21 working days... I purchased the laptop for work and in the process of loosing my job....i requested a replacement as it was a faulty laptop within 3 days.

They are so clever with there fine scripts to protect themselves and wonder where is the TCF coming in. Treating customers fairly?

My contract is 3 years almost paying R27000 of which i dont even have. 3 days and they want to fix it really? Harsware issues is a major problem and problems will occur going forward.

I took videos that the laptop is not working at all going on and off and nothing on the screen.

At this stage i wish to cancel my contract with them as they can take the money and approve very quickly but when it comed to faulty laptops ah well..... Can i cancel my cintract as i have advised them within 3 days?
