Vodacom keeps charging paid off handset

In September, I finally HAD IT with Vodacom and changed to Cell C. Unfortunately, one of my Vodacom accounts was still too expensive to buy out, so I had to migrate my Smart L package to a MyGig5. In doing so, I paid off the handset I got with the Smart L package, but Vodacom never stopped charging me R349 p/m for the handset on the MyGig 5. I phoned Vodacom Customer Care in December, they said that I had to call Upgrades. Which I did. Upgrades said that they would investigate and get back to me. They never did. I called again in January, same story. I called again in February, same story. I just had to call again today, and this time Vodacom wants me to fax them the original quote, proof of payment and a copy of my ID. These documents were all faxed from the Vodacom store in Kathu, the day the migration fee was payed. Vodacom now refuses to re-open the line due to the \arrears amount\" which is in fact their mistake!!

I cannot wait for this contract to run out so I can get rid of Vodacom FOREVER! I have accounts with many other South African retailers, but I have only ever had problems with Vodacom, hence the problem is not with me, but with them"
