VODACOM just lost my company's bussiness forever!!

Bought a Samsung Galaxy Note 9 on Red VIP contract with Vodacom in December 2018. Took a 12 month screen insurance with the contract. The phone fell and the screen was damaged on 30th January 2019 after following up on this repair since 11th February 2019 I was told today that I should pay R4161 Excess & Betterment on a R6511 charge before they will start to repair. This is after a month of waiting on feedback ! The phone was asked to be put on Vodacom's Insurance for full comprehensive insurance on the day that it was purchased and all documents was signed. Yet there was no insurance added until I inquired about the comprehensive cover on 19th February 2019. I will be cancelling all my company's contracts at Vodacom and move over to a service provider who does know what customer service means!

Dear Chantal,

Thank you for the time and effort taken to voice your dissatisfaction to our office. It is with the cooperation and feedback from valued clients such as yourself that we are able to identify any areas of improvement within our organisation.

Please see the below link for terms and conditions of Vodacom screen insurance: https://myvodacom.secure.vodacom.co.za/vodacom/terms/promotions/vodacom-summer-screen-insurance-policy

If you have requested full comprehensive cover for the device then you will need to take this matter directly up with the store where the upgrade was done.

Regards,
Vodacom Consumer Website Team
