Vodacom just gives my pre paid number to someone else and I have the losses

Had this pre paid number for nearly a year now. always credit on and used for a standby number for a business. Had the number recently printed on pamphlets, business cards, fridge magnets and painted on some rent able equipment. Now it stopped working. Vodacom shop informs me someone paid R200 and requested the number added to their account and I cant have the number back. How does this work? Want my number back or who is going to pay for replacing the marketing material etc? How is this acceptable? Pathetic - one star because we do not have a negative option. I have 4 contract numbers with Vodacom so it is not as if they don't make good money from me but will most probably justify this by having some lame excuse such as not being active enough or something - sick. They need some real competition that actually cares about customers!
