Vodacom just can't get it right, a total mess again. It never ends.
Once again Vodacom has outdone itself, how they get the details so wrong does not make sense. For more than three months I have been trying to cancel my contract and every time I am coerced into a contract instead of a cancellation for a phone that is not the size that I want or meets any of my other requirements, resulting in a cancellation. Finally, after trying again after many times I managed to get someone I thought able to assist. This person was the first one who explained that if I cancel my contract there will be fees involved if I decide to take out another contract and that it is more viable to stay on a contract. (Also ridiculous, you are forced to stay in a contract.) I accepted the contract and received a copy of the contract @ R99 per month on my phone. Sigh of relief, finally after so many months something is working out. Surprise, surprise, after about ten days I receive my new monthly Vodacom account. Instead of the R99 for my new contract that I received in writing my monthly phone contract is now R124.19 instead of R99.01 as per the contract. Another surprise, my data contract that is fixed at R229 per month is now suddenly R246 per month. How on earth does this happen. Who authorised this? It is a breach of contract in both cases. Is there now suddenly a law that authorises Vodacom to decide to randomly change contracts to whatever they want without the customer's consent before the end of the existing contract? How many months and phone calls is this going to take to fix this? What on earth, this is not the first time that I am going through this.?!?! This has become the trend in my relationship with Vodacom. How do I fix this, I have been a customer for so many years. Gosh, and it is just getting worse all the time. Please someone help, I honestly can't do this anymore. This is physically and mentally draining, mindboggling.
Surely there must be someone at Vodacom who can fix this and get this right.
