1. Well let me start with this BS, i had many non stop calls from Vodacom Fiber Sales, this was a borderline on harassment, i eventually gave in as i was PROMISSED that Vodacom Fiber will take over from my present Fiber supplier WIRUlink on the 29th of April 2022 and that i would be contacted personally by an instalation consultant. 2. I gave notice with WIRUlink and started to follow up on the 20th of April to where is this instalation consultant? 3. On Monday the 25th of April i called again to follow up what is happening and spoke to a Tando that promised me that the team leader Kenith Vanana would call me back before 12H00, call Referance number: 00B203358CEE2DC5 and NOTHING happened no call back nothing 4. On Tuesday the 26th of April i called again and was instructed that the instalation can take up to 4-8 weeks before it would be completed! 5. As Wednesday the 27th was a public Holiday, i called in again on Thursday the 28th because by now the absolute urgency took over, as since COVID i have moved my offices to my home and cannot go without Fiber/Internet for any amount of time, this time i decided to cancel this order with Vodacom Fiber as said above the 100% misrepresentation that took place from the Sales Team put me in such a bad position! 6. I spoke to a Marlin and he gave me an SR number for the cancelation - SR*** 7. I then contacted WIRUlink to reactivate my service and was informed that i would have to pay a reactivation fee R1007.77 but the problem WIRUlink had was that Vodacom Fiber was now holding "the line hostage" with the message from Vumatel (being the Fiber supplier) of " You cannot change the date of the termination because the customer already has a new activation pending with another ISP" Thus WIRUlink cant get back in as Vodacom Fiber is like i said holding back the position in the line. 6. Today the 29th of April 2022 (this was the due date for the switch over) i called Vodacom Fiber again and spoke to a Selena, i asked to speak to the team leader Recardo Jacobs and could hear how she is having a conversation with him in the background, but was never put through to him. She informed me that i had to give a 30day notice on the cancelation of the Vodacom Fiber activation, to which i rep****, "what activation, i haven't even have Vodacom Fiber as my ISP presently" and then the line went dead. 8. Selena called me back (this was a first for me) and i out of sear desperation gave her instruction to push through the activation of Vodacom Fiber, she took my Vumatel White Box - FSAN number down (this is now 12H00) and promised me that she would call back by 14H00 and would then finalize the activation, and then we need to cancel the cancelation instruction. 9. So what am i getting at, being a Vodacom customer for 15 years now with various contracts including 2 x premium VIP Red contracts, never ever ever take calls from the sales team of Vodacom, as the promise you the earth moon and stars and then they disappear from the radar and leaves you to sort out the MESS they put you in, in the first instance. 10. It doesn't matter if you ask them (the Sales Team) to put something in writing and email it to you so you can work through everything as they never do. 11. By this complaint and review i hope to reach out to everyone out there to hear my story and hopefully you dont step into the same potholes for that matter.
