Vodacom isn't as good as it seems
a contract in September. I requested a cancellation quote within 5 days of taking the cellphone contract. I went back to the Vodacom shop in which I bought the contract from within 7 days of purchase, the agent who helped me sign was so rude towards me she told her colleague to help me, the phone was taken together with my contract. 2 weeks later I received a call from the manager of the store, telling me that he can't help me, I must come fetch my phone. Early October I got a call from vodacom ,I was told that I could get out of the contract within 7 days of purchase without paying a cent but that call never helped me. Instead the agent who phoned me said She'll speak to her manager and get back to me. I had a chat to agents too, one of them advised me to call Vodacom After Sales, I did that. After Sales advised me to give back to the store again because they should have helped me within 7 days of purchase, take my phone , cancel my contract and phone trade partner and give me a reference number. I tried storecomplaints@vodacom. My query was even escalated to the FSC , the store manager gave me a call 2 weeks ago telling me to come to the store so that they can terminate the contract with costs incurred. Don't know why the agent who pulled everything I have done never got back to me, she said I could get out of this within 7 days of purchase. The monthly bill displayed is not the actual amount a person has to pay per month. The bill even fluctuates. I'll never be a Vodacom customer again, I've experienced inconvenience and had to endure rude attitude from the lady who helped me sign the contract when I returned the phone within 7 days.
