Vodacom is Useless!!!
I was disappointed by Vodacom. I discovered that I could not call or receive calls on my phone because I did not have network. I went to Vodacom to enquire & found out that my number was sim swooped without my concern. I had many an answered questions, how can someone do a sim swop via a call centre without verification?
Don’t you need to go to the actual shop with proof of identification & proof of address to be able to do a sim swooped. Later I discovered that my airtime & data was used. This happened over the weekend, so I could not make or receive calls. I was told to come back to unblock my number.
I tried to make a call on my partner’s phone with a Vodacom number but could not reach them via the call centre, they are useless. They gave a stranger my number & could not help me their client who has been using them for over 15 years.
What is the use of Rica for SIM cards, if they cannot do a proper verification of their clients. How did the person who gain access of my number be able to use it before waiting over 24 hours before the new SIM card that is sim swooped be in use.
I also discovered that the person who had now my number, was able to reset my other longin password because they had access to my number.
I blame all this on Vodacom as they gave access to my number to someone. I will not use Vodacom in my life & regret that I have convinced my partner to move her number to this Useless Service provider.
I would like to advise their clients that they are not safe & they need to run from this Useless Service provider before they become their victims.

I spoke to a Lady by the name of Lebogang Motsoapong, who explained that the person who did a sim swooped used their Chat board Called Tobi. I asked her to go & see what was said on that chat board & she explained that Tobi does not keep records of the conversations.
Vodacom is useless as a service Provider.
I have logged a *****ulent case with their ***** department & will wait for their response, but I will never use them for business in the future as they are useless.
I discovered today, that my number was used to use online banking that resulted to cleaning out one of my banking accounts.
I blame Vodacom for all this & I will Persue a legal case to seek advice on how I can hold them responsible for this & let them pay for the financial damages I have suffered.
