Vodacom is trying to ***** my money to pay for their mistake!

So... at the end of July I had two contracts. One voice, one data; both were from Vodacom.

The data contract had expired, so I had requested that they cancel that contract (bearing in mind that this took more than an hour on the phone).

They then canceled the wrong contract and this is why I say that they are *****ing my money for their mistake:
1. They canceled the wrong contract.
2. They then continued charging me for the contract that they were supposed to cancel.
3. They eventually managed to cancel the contract.
4. Then they charged me the R 11 000 for a contract that was already past halfway when THEY canceled the wrong contract.

Now, I have been fighting with them for more than two months to get this sorted out. This is how terrible the customer experience has been:
a) I have been on roughly 2 calls per week to Vodacom to try to sort this out.
b) Each call involved waiting at least 15 minutes per transfer for at least 3 transfers because no one knows how to solve the problem.
c) Their "resolution" at the end was to "log a call" in each case. No one ever got back to me.
d) The poor souls in the shops have to call the same contact centre.
e) To give an indication, my last call that pushed me over the edge went as follows:
- Call vodacom's one department directly that was supposed to help me out
- Wait 30 minutes on hold.
- Consultant puts the phone down in my ear.
- Call again, wait 15 minutes on hold again.
- Consultant answers, but obviously has no idea what to do.
- Suddenly I hear the dreaded Vodacom on hold music and she transfers me back to the first people I spoke to on my first call to Vodacom.
- Consultant subsequently said she would send an email to a manager in some department so that he can call me.

I had taken my business to Vodacom originally as their customer service was supposed to be good (I am a fairly heavy user). Now (with this terrible customer service) I just want a letter from Vodacom saying I don't owe them any more money, do a number port and I will literally go to ANY other service provider.

I am just hoping that, by using social media, I can get Vodacom to do this and never have to deal with them again. Let's see if I can get some attention for their social media team with some keywords: OMBUDSMAN LAW SUE *****
