Vodacom is trash

I just want to express my extreme disappointment and frustration with the handling of my debit order and account management by Vodacom. Despite being a loyal customer for 20 years, I have been subjected to a series of unacceptable errors and inconsistencies.

On February 28th, my debit order bounced, and I made arrangements to pay the outstanding amount within 7 days. I settled the payment on March 6th, including the charges for the bounced payment. However, I have been receiving texts from Vodacom stating that I am in arrears and need to pay my March month-end bill. This is perplexing, as the payment in question is meant to be made at the end of March, not in arrears.

I have spent hours on calls with multiple agents, each providing conflicting explanations. Some agents claimed that the February bounced payment and March month-end debit were combined into a single payment, resulting in the alleged arrears. I find this explanation implausible and potentially *****ulent.

As a result of Vodacom's errors, my credit report now reflects a missed payment for a debit order that has not yet been due. I am appalled and feel ****** by the incompetence and lack of accountability displayed by Vodacom.

I request that you investigate this matter urgently and take the following steps:

1. Correct the error and remove the arrears notification. 2. Update my credit report to reflect the accurate payment history. 3. Provide a clear explanation for the combined debit order and bounced payment.

I hope that Vodacom will take immediate action to rectify this situation and restore my trust in the company. Until then, I must advise others against using Vodacom's services.

And the reason the debit bounced was because i was supposed to be billed R1034, and was instead billed R1075. But that’s okay, that’s on me. I should always ensure that I have a little hundreds more for my debits to go off successfully, but the arrears? No!

I received an email today, indicating that I am in arrears and my services will be discontinued. I am honestly exhausted Vodacom. This horrible service and incompetency is draining me.

Nothing was done as per your previous reply. My account’s status wasn’t updated. I am still being harassed by your team; multiple calls claiming that I owe you (Vodacom). This is 3 weeks after my previous payment and 4 days before my next. No amount of apologies will fix what you guys are putting me through.
