Vodacom is the worst i have never been disappointed like this
Last week Wednesday the 4th of June i wrote to Hellopeter regarding my frustration with Vodacom regarding my contract cancellation which happened in March ,where I am still being debited .after that a representative from Vodacom social media team reached out and confirmed that after listening to the recording that happened on the day of my cancellation these were the findings the agent i spoke to was in the wrong because they didn't inform me that if I move to flexi zero the insurance will still be active and i will be liable to paying the insurance . Also They were suppose to inform me that contract cancellation and insurance cancellation are two different department and if i wish to cancel i must call insurance or they should have transferred me to the correct department that didn't happen and because of that Vodacom take full responsibility and they will sort the issue out and agent will call .to my surprise i receive and email from insurance claiming that they have investigated and i need to pay Vodacom the insurance money because i didn't cancel with them .where i explained my previous conversation and also informed i went to Mall of Africa where i opened my contract when it ended because i didn't know the process for cancellation they gave me the number to cancel and since when i opened the contract i was assistant by one person to open both my cellphone contract and insurance how was i supposed to know when i cancel i must run from pillar to post . Even if that's the case based on Vodacom insurance policy it states " Your policy remains in force for as long as your premium are paid; Your premium is payable monthly ,in an event that your premium is not paid you must pay within 30 (thirty) days from the date the premium was due to maintain your policy .If no premium is received within that time your policy will be cancelled retrospectively . So my question is why is my insurance not cancelled if I didn't pay for more than two months but it is accumulating and now am positioned as if i owe Vodacom and my service is disabled i can't service nor make phone calls . I use this number for business which means am being impacted so is my client who will be responsible to compasante the money am loosing due to this issue that is not getting resolve . Or maybe to be heard and taken serious i must involve authorities and sue Vodacom as am being blocked for something that is Vodacom's fault and am not getting help from anyone .
I am getting SMS that my issue has been resolved but am still blocked from the network Ref :*** Ref:*** Ref : EC-21GR-1P5MF4
