Vodacom is the worst company in the world

Regardless how desperate you are for a phone, never take a contract phone with Vodacom. I wanted to settle my account and they said I have to pay for 18 months worth of data (about 4000 Rands) but I will not be getting the data , Its the price of cancellation they said, I have no problem paying for the phone, because it's with me, but why do I have to pay for data I will not be using? How is this legal? To downgrade my contract I had to pay 1000 Rands , and it's free with Telekom. How is this legal? This is ******ion nothing else, no wonder they keep on making huge profits they are *****ing from people
