Vodacom is terrible and I can't believe I have two contracts with them.
I laid a complain last year September about Vodacom insurance for the phone I took with insurance last year July, it happened to be not insured and I took the matter up through hellopeter last year Sep, I then received a two calls from Vodacom insurance confirming that my phone is insured, one from the consultant and one from the manager to reconfirm that all is in in order, they even read the terms and conditions to me. Now I got ****** in Johannesburg CBD on 13 April and lost my phone, I called Vodacom call centre and spoke to Zikhona who confirmed that actually my phone is not insured, after explaining to her what exactly happened, she told me the quality assurance from Vodacom will go back to those calls to trace them and if the Ts & Cs were read to me that means Vodacom must pay for my phone, she also promised to call me on Monday to after speaking to the QC department and I am still waiting for their call. It looks like all Vodacom wants is our money and don’t care about us to be honest. I am so angry and disappointed right now because the reason why I insisted on insurance in the first place was for reasons like being ****** and just paying for something I no longer have.
