Vodacom is *****ing my airtime and spamming me
For months now, I have been recharging my Vodacom airtime only to have it disappear without me ever sending a sms or making a call. On Sunday 09-08-2020 I purchased R110 airtime at Spar in Plumstead. I recharged my account, I checked first thing the next day and I only had R78 left without ever making/receiving a call or sending or receiving an sms. In addition, despite all my STOP ALL orders sent to Vodacom, I still receive notification for "get more Vodabucks......" first thing at 1:30 am in the morning. How do I stop Vodacom *****ing my airtime and SPAMMING me at all hours of the day and night?

11 Aug 2020, 11:17I was contacted by Customer Care agent this morning. It appears that despite all my STOPALL orders sent to Vodacom - they have been running a 'service' in the background called AyoMER12 which has been systematically *****ing airtime minutes daily. Needless to say, I never signed up for this service and have never received any notifications from them. The Customer Care agent has now blocked this %service% and promises to refund the money that was ******. I will watch carefully to see if airtime is still disappearing in the future.

In a time of national crisis, one would think that companies would take a merciful stand for the poor but this is just when ********* step up their activities as we have seen nationwide. *****ing airtime minutes from me is like taking food from my mouth. Shame on you.

13 Aug 2020, 16:30I have received a refund of R24 which at least acknowledges that there was some 'fault' or ********** behavior going on. I am not satisfied as I would like to know how I was subscribed to and charged for a service AyoMER12 in the evening hours between 10pm and 8am without my having touched the phone. This cannot be left alone, I have entered a complaint with WASPSA but they require full billing details from Vodacom. Vodacom has simply closed the case with R24 to shut me up. Which means the same **** will carry on and more decent, innocent, honest people's airtime will be ******. I will never look on the name Vodacom again without feeling distrust and disgust. When you ***** from the poor, there should be a special place in hell prepared for you.
