VODACOM, Is Speed, Simplicity, Trust really your values, then I need a serious apology from your group???

I have been a Vodacom customer since the company's inception. After all these years I decided to move to other service providers that had more affordable products and a greater variety to choose from, as I believe we all do from time to time. I have always paid my bills on time and sometimes I have even been in credit.

In Dec 2018 I decided to move my last account I had with Vodacom to another service provider. I followed procedure, asked for a quotation for early termination, received the quotation, paid the quoted amount and the last bill I have received.

I received an updated statement showing a credit of R477 on which I enquired and was informed that it would, at that stage take 6 to 8 weeks , leading to 21 March 2019 before I would receive my credit.

21 March came and went and I still did not have the credit refunded, on my follow up enquiry I was informed that the backoffice is busy working on this and that I had to provide proof of my last three payments as well as provide a bank statement so that Vodacom will know where to refund the money to.

It is the 12th of April 2019, I promised the consultant a week ago that I would be writing this review if I do not have my credit refunded into my account on this date. This is not the situation. I still do not have the credit refunded. Is this acceptable service, I have received the invoice and statement showing the credit on the 8th of Feb 2019, this is therefore the 12th week since Vodacom confirmed that they owe me the credit with all of the enquiries in the meantime and still no resolve.

"What we value Speed: We address problems quickly, and act with pace and energy. What's more, we always prioritise the things that matter most to the business. Simplicity: We try and make things simple for customers, colleagues and partners alike. Trust : We're reliable, honest and open to deal with. We always deliver for others – and trust others to do the same."
