Vodacom is ruining my credit life

This is the worst network ever, last year September (2023), I received a call from a sales Representative who persuaded me to migrate from Red VIP to a cheaper subscription which was around R1000. The lady said to me I’m wasting money on unlimited calls since I don’t spend more than 800 minutes a month.

She enticed me with a router and a laptop which worth around R27k and as a result I joined.

Little did I know that Vodacom is also a ****.l and I was selling my soul. The lady didn’t terminate my Red VIP contract and I kept on paying for both contracts on the same line/number. Vodacom would monthly add 1000 minutes on unlimited call I had.

I laid a complaint with Vodacom and same was never resolved until March 2024, where I was told that I won a dispute. They sent Ram delivery to collect the router but didn’t collect the laptop. I kept on paying around R4500 every month.

I kept on calling them because they were still charging me for the two contracts.

Around early May 2024, I received a message that my dispute has been resolved in my favour. My account reflected that I was owed around R5k and same was confirmed by a customer care representative whom I contacted. Every time I was free, I might have called Vodacom more than 30 times since September 2024 without any help.

To my surprise, on 27 May 2024, they debited R20 772.66. This has been done without any courtesy call or message that it will be done that way.

I regret joining this company/ ****mers
