Vodacom is not Cancelling my Contract
Hello Peter, My Name is Amkela.I have problem with Vodacom.I app**** for a phone online an as customer was told if the phone has any faulty it must be return within 14 days. I called Vodacom and reported that my phone has faulty speaker ,I can't hear anyone unless I put the phone on loud speaker, they then made arrangement to collect the phone on the 13th April 2021.Ram(Phone collector)issued me with a receipt as proof that they collected the phone. I called Vodacom few days later to ask about the next step now that they have collected the phone. I was asked if I deactivate the account and the answer was No.They told me to go to Apple store to de-active the Apple ID and I did. My Problem is that Vodacom is not cancelling my Contract since April they keep telling me the same thing that the phone is not yet booked in from their warehouse .I'm paying for data and the phone that I'm not using since 13th of April 2021 ,Every month they are debiting money on my account.
My issue is still not resolved by Vodacom instead they making it look like i was the one who was ending contract with them but the phone was faulty and it was return within 14 days of receiving it.I was paying for that phone whole it was return to them. I was not using their data neither using the physical phone.
