Vodacom is milking a customer.
Two people took **********ly contracts out on my name. Which happened in about June-July.
Vodacom requested a affidavit which I supp**** with the necessary documents. On the 12th December of I received a phone call from the Vodacom ***** department in connection with this double ***** on my cell-phone account. After a brief initial introduction the lady from Vodacom told me that I must go to the persons who **********ly took out the contracts on my name and ask to return to me the phones. I asked her what must I do with these phones I don’t need them because I already have a phone. Her response was that she also did not know what I should do with them. Then I asked her: “Lady are you telling me that I must keep on paying for the contracts which were **********ly taking out on my name??” and her reply was “Yes, I must keep paying till the contract is finished”. This to me is the limit. Vodacom makes mistakes and we must pay for them. The data and the air-time are even not used on these accounts because Vodacom has locked them out. So that money also goes to waste and they keep-on billing me for it. That is an easy way for Vodacom to make money.
In the meantime I keep on phoning Vodacom call centre and than last week I was lucky. I spoke to a person with the name of Hloni from the call centre. I was on the phone with him for about 45 minutes and he started phoning the ***** department these people told him that Forensic was investigating the case. He also tried to phone the Forensic department but nobody answers that happens to me also when I phone the ***** department.
Ok, that I can live with, but why is Vodacom not stopping the airtime and data, which I pay for, going to waste?? The rest we can sort-out later. Why is Vodacom not speeding up their investigation?? I know why, because this customer, me, is being f**ked. They get their money, they just take it, and I can do nothing about it.
Vodacom please get your act together and do something and do something.
