Vodacom is making promises they cant keep...pathet

Last week Monday I did an upgrade and wanted the Huawai P8 lite in black. The consultant told me they do not have stock and said that the phone will be by me today Tuesday 17/11/2018. he said in the beginning of the week and I specifically still asked him when is his early. is it Tuesday or Wednesday and he agreed with me Wednesday is not early in the week and that Tuesday is and that I will receive the phone today. Now when I phoned Vodacom they want to blame the manufacturers because they cant keep their promises. I feel that is passing the buck. if you promise something then you must deliver to your promise. nobody even had the decency to let me know they did not receive stock yet and if I didn't phone again I would have sited and waiting like a fool. Vodacom is really starting to get pathetic. don't promise something and you cant deliver. BAD BAD BAd
