Vodacom is incapable of resolving an ongoing problem

I went into the Vodacom customer care centre in Vodaworld on the 28th of April 2017 to sort out the billing issue on my cell phone and I spent the entire morning there and no one at Vodacom knew what they were doing.

On my previous cell phone package I had a top up account that lasted me the entire month without having to top up my airtime, but since renewing my contract with the exact same package and a new phone, my airtime only lasts me for 3 to 5 days before I have to top up and the only differnce between the previous contract and this one is the device.

So after hours of them not being able to figure out what the probelm is, including going over to Samsung to confirm that all my device settings were set correctly, which Samsung confirmed were correct, Vodacom then concluded that it must be a device problem and I need to update the software on my phone. Which, I reluctantly agreed to because I knew that it was not the problem, but in despration I agreed to it.

So Vodacom backed up the data on my phone, updated the software and restored the data back onto my phone only to find that 80% of my data was lost in the process and is irrecoverble. Most of the information lost are family photos of holiday's that I will never be able to get again.

Not only did they cause me great inconvenience, loss and disatisfaction, they also never resolved my problem. I still have the same problem, but Vodaconm sent me an SMS to say that it is my apps that are using so much data and I need to disable them, but upon reviewing the data usage I noticed that my apps for the first 2 days in the month of May have only used in total about 5MB of data and I made one phone three minute phone call and I am almost out of airtime.

So the problem has not been resolved by upgrading the software on my phone, which I could have told them it wouldn't and I don't have the time or the strength or the patients to put in another days leave to go back to Vodacom and not be helped by their incompentant, untrained unprofessional staff.

So will someone from Vodacom who knows what he/she is doing please phone me and help me resolve this problem.
