Vodacom is in breach of 'Treating Client Fairly' legislation

A breach of Vodacom security resulted in an ********** sim swop on my data account. This was stopped by myself however the perpetrator still managed to send hundreds of SMS's. My account was subsequently blocked for ***** when I queried it and a call logged for a refunded early April. Still waiting for refund after two months. Was advised by Vodacom to go to any Vodacom store to apply for a new SIM card however the store could not assist due to my account being blocked. Logged call with Vodacom to unblock and this is where I'm hitting a brick wall, it's been weeks of endless calls ........ A very helpful contact centre agent is being pushed from pillar to post and despite her efforts she cannot get this right. So now I'm paying for a service I cannot use, which goes against TCF legislation. I have a Vodacom email account that I cannot operate and and I'm paying for a service I cannot use and know one seems to care at Vodacom. With so much cell phone ***** and the need for an email address think twice before signing up with Vodacom.

Reviewer Update

its been more than a week and know one has contacted me to resolve my complaint, it goes to show that Vodacom either does not care or cannot resolve the problem. Do I need to escalate my problem to your CEO Mr Shameel Joosub?
